Aljazeera: Elham al-Qasimi recently traded her traditional long dress - common in her native United Arab Emirates - for a puffy parka in a quest to become the first Arab woman to reach the North Pole.

The trip was unsupported and unassisted, meaning no motorised equipment was used and there were no resupplies along the way.

My kids they go to a British school. When I went today to pick them up they were playing “Heal The World” loudly everywhere in the school.
